Johnny Maeger, 64, of Cartersville passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born April 19, 1945 in Culberson, North Carolina, he was the son of the late John Edgar Maeger and the late Sybil Irene Clayton Maeger.
Johnny was the partner with his son of Pro Collision Body Shop in Cartersville. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy having served during Viet Nam.
Johnny was a NASCAR fan and collected replica cars. He enjoyed cooking out, playing the lottery, taking trips to his sister�s cabin, fishing, and picking on his friends. Johnny loved his family and his dogs.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Langley Maeger; his children, Nikki Maeger Waters, Anthony Maeger and his wife, Iris, and Robbie Maeger Goodwin and her husband, John; his grandchildren, Amber Maeger Reynolds, Dusten Reynolds, Kaz Maeger, Austin Maeger, Whitney Crew Maeger, Kandi Goodwin Hulce, Paul Goodwin, and Tabitha Goodwin; his great-grandchildren, Ethan Reynolds, Cooper Reynolds, Izabela Maeger, Emmie Hulce, and Josie Goodwin; and his sister, Irene Maeger Milner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Jeff Martin and Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Burial will follow on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 � 9 p.m. Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
