Joseph Lamar Cline, 56 of White, Georgia, left to be with the Lord on April 30, 2024 in Cartersville. He was born on September 9, 1967 in Rome, Georgia, to James Cline and Theresa Lee Cline. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dora & Curan Lee and Grace Holmes & Louis Cline.
Joseph was a graduate of Cass High School and earned his bachelor's degree at North Georgia Technical College. He worked at Toyo Tires as a master electrician, previously working at Scientific Games and the proud owner of Cline Electric. He most often could be found working around the house and in the garden. He loved cars, vacationing to the beach, and playing in the Cherokee World Series of Poker. He was a huge supporter of the Shriners Hospital and absolutely adored his cat Marty Lamar and dog Oy.
He is survived by his parents, James & Theresa Cline; his loving wife of 6 years, Susan Cline; children Laura Thompson, Katie Martinez, Meggen Thompson, and Wyndi Pulley; his very special grandchildren Ethan, Evan, and Eli Thompson, Callie Grace Dooley and Mason Pulley; brother Brad Cline & wife Myra; special nieces Brittany & Matt Cochran and Michelle Cline & fiancé Kaemon Hernandez; great niece, Macy Jean Cochran; and an overwhelming number of friends and coworkers whom he loved dearly.
The family will be holding a memorial gathering for friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home located at 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville Georgia, 30120. The family will have a memorial service at 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Peeples Valley Community Church located at 430 Peeples Valley Road, Cartersville, Georgia.
