Joyce Bruce

Joyce Bruce, 68, of White, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at The Specialty Hospital at Floyd. Born in Fort White, Florida, December 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William D. Hollingsworth and the late Lois Amelia Bowles. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing cards, going camping, putting puzzles together, playing the Wii and most of all spending time with her family.



Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Allan Mohon of White, Tina and Gary Shepherd of Cartersville and Sherry Bruce of Cartersville; her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and John Shaw of High Springs, Florida; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Donnie Summey officiating.



The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m., Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
