Joyce Hopper

Joyce Ann Williams Hopper, 64, of Kingston, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at her sister's residence. Born on February 18, 1943 in Etowah County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence B. Williams and Mattie Sue Moon Williams. Joyce was a beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. Forever she will remain in the hearts and the memory of those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son's and daughter-in-laws, Phil and Cheryl Hopper, of Floyd County and Neil and Lori Hopper of Adairsville Georgia; her grandchildren, Timothy, Christian, and Benjamin Hopper; a sister and brother-in-law Nan and Jim Hendrix.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bishop David Huskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Kingston City Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers will be Ricky Thomas, Terry Drew, Randy Bennett, Jeff Williams, Clinton Evans, and Homer Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Dawson and Dwayne Mccoy. The family will receive friends from 6 - 9pm Tuesday to celebrate Joyce's life.
