Joyce Poole

Mrs. Joyce Carolyn Poole, 74, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born February 29, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN, she was a daughter of the late A. D. Killingsworth and the late Cecilia Schearer Killingsworth. Mrs. Poole was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She enjoyed crafts, and buying things from QVC and the Home Shopping Network, and she collected clocks and angels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lamar Killingsworth.

Survivors include her son, Barry Frederick and his girlfriend Taniesa East of Rockmart; daughters, Chrystal Hightower and her husband Ronnie of Cartersville, Kay Mulkey of Cartersville, Judy Brinkley of Cartersville, and Haylee Frederick of Cartersville; grandchildren, Miranda Hensley and her husband Jesse, Beth Cook and her husband Jason, Tonya Lutjens and her husband Hans, Chrystal Reagan and her husband Nick, Amanda Mulkey, Haylee Frederick, Blake Frederick and his wife Cierra, and Randy Frederick; great-grandchildren, Jaxen Hensley, Tyler Reagan, Hunter Reagan, Anna Reagan, Andrea Reagan, Michael Cook, Mallory Cook, Madelyne Cook, Matthew Cook, Andrew Lutjens, Blake Lutjens, Devin Pryer, Rhett Frederick, Abby, and Jayden Frederick; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Gina Woodall.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend George Chastain officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Reuben Lowe, Keith Myrick, Buddy Frederick, Randy Frederick, Blake Frederick, and Mikey Gravley.
