Joyce Woods

Joyce Alieen Wiley Woods, 72, passed away on March 31, 2021 at her residence.

Born on December 21, 1948, in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late James A. Wiley and Barbara Gravley.

Survivors include her husband of 57 and a half years, Marshall Woods, Sr.; her children, Becky Jacobs (Randy), Marshall Woods, Jr. (Lynn), Amanda (Bunny) Braswell (Scooter), William Skyler Woods, Evan King Woods, Hollie Snow Woods; grandchildren, Charity Messer, Marshall Woods III, Aaron Woods, Parker Woods, Jocelyn Woods; and great grandchildren, Collin James Messer, David Marshall Woods, Luna Lindenmayer, and Molleigh Lynn Holman.

Joyce loved Jesus and was an excellent cook and piano player. She was known by millions as "Momma Joyce" on Facebook and YouTube. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers. She loved her family and spending time with them. Joyce was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Max Maybern officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Marshall Woods III, Aaron Woods, Gary Woods, Rusty Woods, Skyler Woods, and Evan Woods.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bread of Life Church, 267 Simpson Rd., White, GA 30184.
