Juanita Mayes

Juanita �Nita� Mayes, age 67, of Euharlee, died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Polk County on July 24, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Henry Hardin and Christine Kirk Hardin. Nita was a member of the Savior of All Lutheran Church and was a homemaker. She worked for brief periods earlier in her life, but enjoyed being a homemaker taking care of her family and friends.



Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Burdine �Bill� W. Mayes, Jr., having married July 24, 1941; her daughter, Anda C. Mayes; her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Star Mayes; her grandchildren, Travis and Maddi Mayes, Evan Mayes, Hunter Davis, Alaha Davis, Christian Mathison; and a brother, James R. Hardin.



Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at Rockmart-Aragon Memory Gardens.



The family will receive friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services Thursday from 6 � 8 p.m.
