Judi Lovell

Ms. Judi Lynn Young Lovell, age 42, of 36 Marion Dairy Road, Lindale GA passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Floyd Medical Center.Ms. Lovell was born on December 17, 1963 in Floyd County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Pat Young and Bettye Mitchell Young. She was of the Baptist faith and a 1981 graduate of West Rome High School. Ms. Lovell worked in Guest Relations at Floyd Medical Center where she provided comfort and support for other people who were sick. Judi could really relate to those who were receiving treatment for cancer. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. Ms. Lovell was preceded in death by both her father, Pat Young on October 12, 2003 and by her mother, Bettye Young on November 17, 2001 as well as a sister, Mary Cathryn Young.Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly and son in-law, Joey Connell of Rome; sister, Beth and brother in-law, Tim Davenport of Silver Creek; three brothers and a sister in-law, Jimmy Young, Chris and Betsy Young and Kevin Young, all of Rome; nieces, Tonya Dupree, Skye Davenport, Brooke Davenport, Rachel and Johnda Trammell Young; nephew, Terence Dupree and Natalie Palmer; great-nephew, T.J. Dupree; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.Funeral services for Ms. Lovell will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Oaknoll Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Smollar officiating. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.Following, the family will receive friends at 36 Marion Dairy Road, Lindale, GA.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to the Amber Jackson fund at Regions Bank.
