Judy Craig

Mrs. Judy Cathy Craig, 67, of Cartersville passed away on September 7, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on March 4, 1954 in Rockmart, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Alfred Womack and the late Mary Barnette Womack. She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Craig; and several brothers and sisters.

Cathy was employed with Shaw Industries until her retirement. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke around with people; she also loved roses and her cats.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Lawrence Craig; her children, Kathy Blankenship (Brian), and Connie Arp (Jason); her grandchildren, Kirsten Craig, Aire Craig, Lewis Burton, Morgan Carroll (Joe), Ashley Blankenship, Taylar Arp, and Max Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Ellery, Sawyer, Finn, and Randy; and her brothers, Alfred Womack, Ricky Womack, and Allen Womack.

The family will receive visitors during the viewing at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Crowe Springs Baptist Church, 290 Crowe Springs Rd NW, Cartersville, GA 30121. Mrs. Craig will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; with Reverend Ronnie Cowart and Reverend Dewayne McCreary officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Full Bible Church Cemetery, 544 Cedar Creek Rd. NW, Cartersville, GA 30121.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Carroll, Justin Womack, Lewis Burton, Michael Tidwell, Jacob Garrett, Jerry Easterwood, Michael Womack and Jimmy Womack.
