Ms. Judy Ann Hall Garner, age 65, of Rome, GA, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, in a local hospital.
Ms. Garner was born in Geraldine, AL, on February 12, 1945, the daughter of the late William Hall and Verbie Hayes Hall. She was a member of Beech Creek United Methodist Church and retired from Apria after thirty three years of service. Ms. Garner was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing crafts and sewing.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Promise Garner of Rome; a daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Covington and Roger Oehlert of Rome; four grandchildren, Jacob Bloodworth, C.J. Covington, Braxton Garner, and Brystol Garner all of Rome; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Ruth Hall of Gaylesville, AL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Clonts officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel and at other hours may be contacted at the daughter�s residence, 18 Kenwood Drive, Rome, GA.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as active pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Oaknoll Chapel by 10:30 A.M. on Saturday: Brent Hall, Kirk Hall, and Jason Vines. The employees of Apria Healthcare will serve as honorary pallbearers.
