Judy Price

Judy Price, 66, of Cartersville passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Redmond Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Born in Cartersville on April 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late D.C. Myrick and the late Gussie Chitwood Myrick. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan Baggett.



Judy had retired from Lockeed-Martin as a line inspector and was a member of the Cartersville Church of Christ. Her favorite hobby was her family especially her grandsons. Judy enjoyed listening to country music, traveling when she was able, and socializing with family and friends. She never met a stranger and had many, many friends.



Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jerrell Price; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tracey Price of Cartersville; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Kumar Patel of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Todd and Tonya Price, Brad Price, and Christopher Patel; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, C.L. and Joyce Price of Cartersville, Helen and Ronnie Otting of Cartersville, H.L. Price of Alabama, Jean Hall, Betty Adams, Pat and Johnny Stringer, Fran and Tommy Miller, Joan and Ralph Cox, and Kathy and Jimmy Howell, all of Cartersville, and Bobby Baggett of Cartersville; her aunt and uncle, Louise and Speed Jenkins; numerous cousins; and special friend and cousin, Patsy Howell.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with the Mr. Bobby Gayton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be C.L. Price, Kelly Price, Devin Ballard, Todd Price, Michael Baggett, and Jerry Myrick. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. on Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
