Mrs. June Carroll, 75, of Cartersville, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born April 25, 1937 in Greenback, TN, she was a daughter of the late Raymond E. Lambert and the late Hettie A. Hammontree Lambert. Mrs. Carroll was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she attended the Samaritan Sunday School Class. She had worked at Thompson Honda in Cartersville and Rockmart for over 17 years. Mrs. Carroll loved to go shopping with her sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother David.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jack D. Carroll; daughter, Crystal Dozier and her husband Michael of Duluth; granddaughter, Jamie Dozier; and her sister, Sara Landers and her husband Jimmy of Austell.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Jeff Duvall officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Layton Jenkins, Jeff Baxter, Randy Thompson, Peter Gillis, Alan Loveman, and Michael Dozier.
