Karen Jenkins

Mrs. Karen Dale Allred Jenkins, 57, of Cartersville, Ga. passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at her home, following her battle with MD.

Dale was born January 2, 1961 in Rome, Ga. to the late Charles and Carol Otting Allred. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She worked at Goodyear Mills in her younger years. Dale was a kind, patient, generous and very precious person. She loved the Lord and loved to travel. She spent many vacations with her family in the years past when her health was good. She was loved by everyone and will be missed.

Dale is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carol Otting Allred; sister, Debbie Allred Earwood; her grandparents; and her precious pet, Lily Mae.
Survivors include her loving husband, Eddie Jenkins; daughter Hannah Jenkins Watkins (Josh); grandson Hayden Watkins; mother-in-law, Mary Ruth Jenkins; sister, Lisa Chambers (Dennis); brothers; Don Allred (Terri), Chris Allred (Lorie); special brother-in-law, Sonny Earwood, who was always there for her and her family; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Anthony and Tammy Jenkins Collum, Randy and Donna Jenkins; and special niece, Amy Chambers, who she considered like her own. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Jenkins, Josh Watkins, Chase Allred, Anthony Collum, Sonny Earwood and Steve Arp.
