Ms. Karen Lynne Sanders, 62, of Cartersville, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born July 15, 1950 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Karen was the daughter of William T. Sanders and Frankie Mae Pierce Sanders. Karen had worked as a book keeper for several different companies and she was an avid reader, often reading more than two books a week.
In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Wilma D. Flud of Dallas, TX, Bobbie D. Pierce and his wife Wanda of Indiana, Paula Gayle Krieghousen, Derek Sanders and his wife Ansley, Zach Sanders, Zoe Sanders, Leaf William Sanders, Dicksy and Mike Wilson, Hayden Wilson, and Hannah Wilson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m., December 7, 2012 in the Chapel at Sam Jones United Methodist Church with The Reverend Bill Birch and The Reverend Nena Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish make donations in the name of Karen Sanders for the benefit of Frankie Sanders at Untied Community Bank, 1320 JFH Parkway, SE, Cartersville, GA 30120, 770-607-8004.
