Kathryne Chappell

Mrs. Kathryne Chappell, 63, of Taylorsville, died on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cartersville, Georgia on May 4, 1954, the daughter of the late Herbie Lewis and Annice Earwood Lewis.
Mrs. Chappell was of the Baptist faith and loved animals, especially horses. She loved to read and loved her family dearly. She spent her life taking care of other people. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Lewis; her brothers, Emmett Lewis, Richard Lewis, Larry Lewis and Danny Lewis.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Doug Chappell; her sons, Doug Chappell Jr. (Annetta) of Belle Center, OH., Damien Shaun Chappell (Raechel) of Calhoun, GA.; granddaughter Annika Chappell; her brother, Elton Lewis (Ida) of Fairmount, GA.; her sister, Edith Parivechio, of Dallas, GA.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church with The Reverend Rob Miller officiating.
