It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy Gail Walker Barbee, a cherished resident of Acworth, Georgia. Kathy passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the age of 61.
Born on Monday, August 10, 1964, Kathy was a loving individual who found great joy in the simple things in life. Her immense love for her dogs, Babygirl and Ringo, was apparent to all who knew her, and she spent many happy days in their company.
Kathy's life was guided by her kind and nurturing spirit. She was known to her family and friends as a compassionate soul who cherished her relationships deeply.
She is survived by her beloved son, Brandon Barbee, and her cousins, Robbie Payne and Donnie Walker, who will miss her dearly. Kathy is preceded in death by her mother, Asalee Bishop; her brother, Jimmy Walker; and her partner, Richard Eubanks. She spoke fondly of her family and treasures the moments shared with them.
Her arrangements are being handled by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
