Mrs. Kathy Gail Lee, 52, of Rockmart, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, Kathy was born July 8, 1958, the daughter of Billy Ledford and Mary Jordan Ledford. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Holliday and her grandparents, Doris and Lee Jordan.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a very caring and wonderful person. She was very tender hearted and loved everyone that she came in contact with.
She is survived by her husband of ten years, Steve Lee; her sons, Charles Lee and wife, Jessica of Kingston, Clinton Lee and wife Crystal of Kingston; her daughters, Amanda Hayes of Cartersville and April Holliday of Rome; her parents, Billy and Mary Ledford; her grandchildren, Savannah Elliott, Jayden Tucker, Tucker Lee, Corey Lee, Tyler Bennett, Kyle Lee and Kaitland Neil; her brothers, Billy Ledford, Jr. and wife Amber of Adairsville; her sister, Alish Lowe of Emerson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Rex Cox, Reverend Jerry Boston, Dr. Wayne Hamrick and Reverend David Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Emerson Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Joseph Wood, Bradley Ferguson, Cody Lowe, Bradley Lopez, Homer Ferguson and Billy Ledford.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
