Kayla Holder

Kayla was born June 23, 1990, in Cartersville, Georgia. Kayla passed away at Cartersville Medical Center on June 22, 2021. Kayla was a member of Iron Hill Baptist Church.

Kayla was preceded in death by her cousin David, grandparents Roy and Rebie Wilson, her parents Gary and Sharon Bowles and her husband Justin Lee Holder.

She is survived by her stepdaughter Rachael Holder; mother-in-law Wendy Holder; God mother Inez Barfield; God brother Joshua Stephens and Hilary Ray; nephew Jaylen Ray; aunts Donna Wilson and Becky Wetzel of Acworth GA; uncle Randy Wilson and Stephanie Wilson; cousins Kelly Wetzel, Misty Welchel, Katie Anderson and Micheal Barbara.

Kayla was loved by so many. She would help anybody she could. She loved her family and her friends. She enjoyed decorating for special occasions at church. She enjoyed doing adventures and going to movies with her friends. She also, enjoyed playing video games with her friends and spending time with her stepdaughter Rachel.

Kayla loved writing poems, singing, Disney and frogs. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Her favorite foods were sweet cornbread, coleslaw, stewed cabbage, banana pudding, fried potatoes and gravy biscuits made by maw maw.
A funeral service to celebrate Kayla's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Guider officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11:30 am prior to the service.

Serving as pall bearers are Hilary Ray, Joshua Stephens, Eddie Nale, Chaz Feigate, Ryan Welchel, and Robert Odom.
