Kenneth Henson

Kenneth Michael Henson, 43, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at his residence.

Born on October 20, 1975 in Dallas he was the son of Johnny P. Henson and Judy Harkins Marini. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his parents; his fiancée, Carisa Abernathy; his step-children, Levi Matthews, Allison Abernathy, and Dawson Abernathy; his grandson, Xander Abernathy; his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Wayne Ashe; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jonathan and Regina Henson, and Joey and Kelli Henson; his aunts, Brenda Hill, and Marion Womack, his uncle, Bill Harkins; his nephews, Christopher Ross, Joshua Ross, Dakotah Ashe, and Grayson Ashe; and his niece, Blakelyn Henson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at New Beginnings Baptist Church, 205 Colonel Way, White, GA 30184, with Pastor Michael Matthews officiating. Kenneth will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Henson, Joey Henson, Christopher Ross, Shane Ashe, Wayne Ashe, and Levi Matthews. Honorary pallbearers will be, Joshua Ross, Dakotah Ashe, and Grayson Ashe.
