Kitty Constance (Wooten) Massey, 76 , was born in Chattanooga, TN to Kermit and Lena Sue (Acklin)
Wooten on June 22, 1945.
She passed away on December, 18, 2021 after approximately 7 months of declining health.
Kitty was preceded in death by both parents, Kermit Jones Wooten and Lena Sue (Acklin) Wooten, brother Kermit Austell Wooten, brother Courtenay Aaron Wooten, and brother Gary Eric "Ricky" Wooten.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years; William Thomas "Tommy"; Massey; son Gregory Dean Hixson (Darbi), son Joe Franklin Jones Turner (Sherri), daughter Lorry Jean Massey Brock (Bruce), daughter Tilisa Lynn Massey, as well as nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
Kitty was an avid reader, and shopping enthusiast. She enjoyed many RV adventures with Tommy, and saw more beautiful places than most could only dream of. Her small stature was no indication of her spunky and confident personality. Though a private person, she loved big, and always strived to maintain a positive attitude. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held January 5, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens, 790 Indian Mounds Rd. Cartersville, GA 30120.
