Kyle Lake, 31, of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Born on August 13, 1991, in Huntington, WV, he was the son of Robert Lake and Rhonda Cruz. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Lake, mamaw Patricia "Patty" Lake, Papaw Robert "Bobby" Lake, mamaw Donna Frazier, and papa Kenneth "Kenny" Bado.
Kyle is survived by his wife of 11 years, Ashley Lake; his children Deliah Anne Lake, Elijah Steven Lake, and Isaiah Michael Lake; mom and dad Rhonda and Joel Cruz; brothers JR Cruz (Vivian), Mark Cruz, Shea Frazier (Elizabeth "Izzy"), Luis Cruz, Sebastian Cruz, Adam Frazier, and many other brothers of the heart; sisters Mary Lou Cruz, Isabelle "Belle" Cruz, and Paige Marsh (Zach); granddad Glen Frazier; mimi Polly Bado; also, many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members.
Kyle was the best. He was the best daddy, husband, son, brother, and friend. He loved his kids and his people with his whole heart! He was very selfless, would give and gave the shirt off his back. He was a light to others and could bring people out of a dark place with his caring and warmth. He said "I love you" all the time.
Kyle served in the Army National Guard and was going to school to be a nurse. He was a very talented musician who had no formal lessons, he was just naturally talented and could play any instrument. He loved to grill and even put a grill in the ground. He always had a good time and was so much fun to be around. All the kids loved him because he was a big kid himself.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2023.
