LaCinda Dawn Jones passed away on March 13, 2025. Born on November 9, 1968, to Charles and Jean Hendricks, LaCinda was known for her loving spirit.
LaCinda graduated from Cass High School in 1986 and worked her way up from a cashier to produce manager at Winn Dixie, where she met her husband, Billy. She later moved on to manage an entire apartment complex and eventually enrolled in a medical assistant program.
LaCinda served her community as Worthy Matron of her local Eastern Star Chapter on multiple occasions. She was never shy about sharing her love of God and the Georgia Bulldogs with those she met.
LaCinda considered raising her two daughters, Christiane and BreAnna, as one of her most significant accomplishments. She unconditionally and selflessly loved and supported her children throughout their lives. But, her true joy was spending quality time with her grandchildren, Aiden, Bethany, Cindy, and Emileigh, who she proudly doted over and spoiled every chance she got.
LaCinda is survived by her husband, Billy Jones; daughters, Christiane Bard and BreAnna Jones; sons-in-law, Geoff Bard and Jeremy Hickman; mother, Jean Hendricks; grandchildren, Aiden Jones, Bethany Bard, Cindy Thrash, and Emileigh Bard; brother and sister-in-law Charles (Chuck) and Paula Hendricks; and her many, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Charles Hendricks; grandmothers, Bea Hendricks and Leila Jo Hamilton; and many other loved ones.
At her request, a private memorial service will be held with her close family members at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, caring daughter and wife, loyal friend, and proud "Nana."
