Lajune Hanenkrat

Mrs. Lajune Lewis Hanenkrat, 88, of Cartersville, died on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born October 4, 1930 in Cartersville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Paul Lewis and Daisy Powell Lewis.
Mrs. Hanenkrat was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for 76 years and she loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles Hanenkrat.
Survivors include her sons, Chuck Hanenkrat (Deborah), Chris Hanenkrat; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hanenkrat, Jennifer Hanenkrat; her sister, Frances Avery; her niece, Cathy Baxter; and her nephew, Tommy Avery (Leslie).
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 3:30 p.m., at Oak Hill cemetery with Reverend Richard Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
