Larry Fowler

Mr. Larry Thomas Fowler, age 50, of 969 East Hermitage Road, Rome, GA, died Friday, July 23, 2004, in a local hospital.A native of Rome and Floyd County, Mr. Fowler was born on June 4, 1954, the son of Barbara McNeese Fowler and the late Alfred Newton Fowler. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to ill health, Mr. Fowler was an oil rigger, working on oil rigs off Louisiana and in the Far East. He loved to sing and play guitar and enjoyed camping.Mr. Fowler is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ashley Fowler of Jasper, GA; mother, Barbara Fowler of Rome; brother, Curtis Fowler of Shannon, GA.A memorial service for Mr. Fowler will be held on Sunday at 12:00 noon in the Church of God of Prophecy in Shannon with Rev.
