Larry Junior Prater, 54, of Cartersville passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born March 5, 1955 in Rome, he was the son of Rosalee Craig Prater and the late James Prater. Prior to his employment with Ralph Williams and Company, Mr. Parter was employed by Bartow County.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Keith Maddox of Duluth and Carla and Aaron Prince of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Chelsey Greeson, Jeffery Prince, and Nathan Prince; his mother, Rosalee Prater; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Viney and Larry McDaniel, Sue and Sonny Odell, and Patricia and James English; and several nieces and nephews.
