Larry Sumner

Larry Curtis Sumner, 60, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on September 18, 2021.

Born on June 4, 1961, he was the son of the late Curtis Sumner and the late Barbara Hale Sumner.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Sumner; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Joanna Sumner; his two grandchildren, Faith Sumner and Jacob Sumner; and siblings, Clyde Sumner, Terry Sumner, Debbie Wilkie and Tammy Odell.

Larry served as the Captain on the Dallas Police Department. He enjoyed woodworking, remodeling, and working with his hands. In addition, he loved playing the guitar and being on the beach.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Dallas Memorial Gardens in Dallas, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the Dallas Police Department.
