Larry �Bennie� West, 59, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born June 3, 1950 in Cartersville, he was the son of the late George West and the Late Clara Elizabeth Potts West. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Bennie enjoyed gardening, relaxing and spending time with his grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Shullaw of Cartersville; his daughter, Brandi West of Rome; his son, Brian West of Rome; his stepsons, Jerry Shullaw and Devin Shullaw, both of Cartersville; his stepdaughter, Cissy Shullaw of Cartersville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Toby West of Cartersville, David and Candi West of Calhoun, and Danny and Susan West of Taylorsville; his grandson, Elijah Shullaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Kingston Cemetery with Rev. C. E. Wilkey officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Keith West, Devin Shullaw, Stephen Hale, Dean Hale, Jerry Shullaw, and Derick Catron. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 Noon on Thursday.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
