Mr. Lawrence Dale Williams, 67, of Cartersville, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Toledo, Iowa on March 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Everett Williams and Helen Linnie Williams.
Mr. Williams was a carrier for The Daily Tribune News for 30 years. He loved his dog, Dolly and Lula Belle, was a good family man and a father to everyone he met. Mr. Williams also enjoyed doing yard work. Preceding him in death along with his parents is his wife, Patsy Williams; and his brothers, James and Jerry Williams.
Survivors include his children, Jack Williams, Sandra Williams and Marisa Virostek; his granddaughter, Samantha Bullard; his sister Janice Bohannon; his brother, Lloyd Williams; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
