Leila Mae Boston, age 87, of Cartersville passed away August 8, 2023.
Ms. Boston was born in Kingston, GA on December 27, 1935 to the late L.J. Boston, Jr. and Mealow Boston.
Ms. Boston is survived by three daughters: Sharon Gilstrap, Judy McCollum (Eddie), and Robin Hale (Russell). Ms. Boston is also survived by three grandchildren: Shannon Hilburn (Chris), Danielle Graham (Jeremy), and Dylan Hale.
Ms. Boston was also blessed with three great-grand children, Blake Hilburn, Clay Hilburn and Chase Graham.
Ms. Boston had a host of loving nicknames which included Granda, Granny, Flossy Mae and Nanny Bowl.
In addition to loving and caring for her family she enjoyed gardening, cooking and feeding people. Her hobbies included looking at the sky and moon, loafing around, hummingbirds, digging for treasures and finding the perfect greeting card. She was empathetic to everyone and selfless. She would not go anywhere without her lipstick on!

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home in Cartersville, GA. Funeral will be at 1:00 pm. Internment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will include: Chris Hilburn, Eddie McCollum, Dylan Hale, Russell Hale, Jeremy Graham and Blake Hilburn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clay Hilburn and Chase Graham.
