Leila Bryson

Mrs. Leila Pauline Bryson, 91, of Cartersville, died Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Townsend Park Health & Rehab. A native of Bartow County, she was born February 23, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Mort Sheffield and Hulda Mae Lewis Sheffield.
Mrs. Bryson worked for E-Z Mills for 25 years and enjoyed yard work, cooking, cleaning and arranging flowers. She was a member of the Cartersville Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leon "Tiny" Bryson; her siblings, Lenis Cox, Lydia Watters, Laura Long, Louise Smith, Lorene Martin, Leonard , Luther, Lodis and Lesley Sheffield.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Bryson (Gail), O.L. Bryson (Emily), Michael Bryson (Joyce) and David Bryson (Susan); her brother and sister-in-law, Leon Sheffield (Joyce); her brothers-in-law, Allen Martin and Dewey Bryson; and sisters-in-law, Mary and Margaret Sheffield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Doyle Watters officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Derrick Bryson, Phil Bryson, Greg Bryson, Timothy Bryson, Scott West and Derek Colbert.
