Leila Heath

Leila Mae Heath, 85, of Kingston Georgia, passed away November 10, 2023 in Cartersville, Georgia.

She was born on January 18, 1938 to the late Grover Dupree and the late Mattie Millsap Dupree. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Heath; brothers, Junior Dupree, James Dupree, Howard Dupree, and Bill Dupree; sisters, Maggie Potts, Kathleen Hatfield, Ella Mae Matthews, and Inez Dupree. She is survived by her sister, Ruby Dupree and her brother, Charles (Nub) Dupree.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Doc Hatfield and Reverend Mark Dupree officiating. Burial will follow at Kingston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Tuesday prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Portwood, Charles Dupree, Danny Hardin, Justin Hardin, Derek Young, Danny Weldon, Amy Hatfield, and Trinity Hatfield.
