Lena Ellerbee

Mrs. Lena Pauline (Polly) Ellerbee, age 95 of Pineview Way, Rome, GA, died Thursday, July 29, 2004.Mrs. Ellerbee was born in Bartow County, September 1, 1908, daughter of the late James Martin and Lula Adeline Smith Culberson but had spent the greater part of her life in Rome and Floyd County. She was a member of the Rome First Baptist church and a former member of the Rome Business Women's Association. For many years prior to her retirement she was associated with O'Neal Manufacturing Company. She was a a pleasant Christian lady and loved morking with her flowers.She was married to the late Ben Hill Ellerbee who preceded her in death.Survivors include four sisters; Doris Hight of Shannon, GA, Lucille Littlefield of Adairsville, GA, Joyce Chastian of Rome, and Elosie Moore of Calhoun, GA, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Pauline (Polly) Ellerbee will be held at 2PM Saturday, July 31, 2004 in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Chancey officiating.
