Mrs. Lennell Lee, 72, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw.
Born June 28, 1940 in Cartersville, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Johnson and the late Grace Hubbard Johnson. Mrs. Lee was of the Baptist Faith and an all-around good person. She was gentle and strong willed, and was generous to all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Charles Lee, and a grandson, Anthony Norris.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Day and her husband Lenny of Cartersville; step-daughter, Paula Youmans of Cartersville; brother, Gordon Johnson of Cartersville; step-grandchildren, Jason Day and Courtney Day; and her fiancé, Richard Lee.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
