Lenore Lowery
April 15, 1940 — September 2, 2025
Ada Lenore Landrum Lowery, 85 of Cartersville, passed away on September 2, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1940 in Emerson, Georgia to the late Ishmael Landrum and the late Jessie Haddon Landrum. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Horace Lowery; and her brother, Frank Landrum.
Lenore attended Berry College. She had many beloved dogs and she loved her family with a passion and delighted in her children. She was a talented and a well-known artist that enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, canning, and photography. She loved attending arts and crafts fairs and had her own art exhibit in many of them. She would often tour museums and browse art books. She was a woman who loved her privacy but also loved visits from family and friends. Most importantly, she loved God's creation, especially beautiful flowers and birds. She made it a point to talk to God daily.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Joey) Lowery; daughter Regina Lowery Bryson (Donald); grandchildren Amanda Lowery Strickland (Dustin), A.J. Lowery (Katherine), Sydney Bryson Ott (Madison), Tate Bryson (Taylor) and Maggie Lowery; five great grandchildren; brothers Terry Landrum (Vicki), and Andre Landrum (Louise); many, many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Rossie Landrum; and special friends Marsha and Danny Cain, Jaque Thacker, and Ronnie and Lynn Gore.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30 on Saturday prior to the service.
