Leon Millholland, Sr.

Leon Millholland, Sr., 87, of Cartersville passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on May 27, 1926, in Canton, he was the son of the late William D. Millholland and the late Cannie Ellis Millholland. He was also preceded in death by his wife Florene Neal Millholland. Mr. Millholland was a truck driver until his retirement. He was an avid gardener who loved his family and his beloved dog, Brownie. Mr. Millholland was member of Cassville Baptist Church.

Survivors include four loving children, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
