Leonard Jones, 77, of White went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Gilmer County on August 11, 1933 he was the son of the late Junie Jones and the late Leila Gregory Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Chastain Jones of White; his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and James Eaton of Cartersville; his son, Jerry Farmer of Talking Rock; his grandchildren, Anthony Eaton of Cartersville, Tina and Jeff Medlin of Rydal; his sister, Eileen Martin of Indiantown, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends that meant the world to him and he loved very much.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Huskins. Burial will follow in White Cemetery in White.
The family received friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
