Mr. Leopoldo Cardenas, age 48, of Rome,GA, died Saturday, January 9, 2010.
Mr. Cardenas was born in Talpa De Allende Jalisco, MX on January 8, 1962, the son of Filiberto Cardenas and Maria Guadalupe Llamas. Mr. Cardenas was the owner of Celia�s Market in West Rome and a parishioner of St. Mary�s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his devoted wife of twenty-four years, Celia Armas Cardenas; three sons, Louis Cardenas, Jose Cardenas, and Juan Cardenas; a daughter, Alejandra Cardenas; parents, Filberto and Maria Cardenas; a brother Filberto Cardenas II; and three sisters, Guadalupe Cardenas, Lucia Cardenas, and Yolanda Cardenas.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the St. Mary�s Catholic Church with Father Julio Palarino Castro officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home. The Rosary will follow at 8:00 P.M.
