Leslie Chase

Leslie Stephens Chase, 55, of Acworth, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born April 5, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Mavis Wheeler Chase and the late Howard Chase. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Chase and James Chase.



Leslie was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during Viet Nam. He was a restaurant manager of a Burger King and enjoyed photography and watching Ohio State football.



Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Judy Chase of Acworth; his daughter, Stephanie LeGrone of Mobile, Alabama; his step-daughter, Erin Clarke of Smyrna; his mother, Mavis Chase of Mobile, Alabama; his brother, Richard Chase of Cinncinati, Ohio; his sister, Sandra Cervantos of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
