Lillian Kerce

Miss Lillian Kerce, age 92 formerly of Elliott Drive, Rome died Tuesday, October 21, 2008

in a local healthcare facility.



Miss Kerce was born April 11, 1916 in Floyd County, Ga. daughter of the late Lawrence

Hamilton (Hammie) Kerce and Sarah Smith Kerce. Miss Kerce was a hairdresser and was a lifetime

member of the Barnsley United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents Miss Kerce was preceded

in death by her sisters, Annie Mae Kerce Cornett and Ella Kerce Sullins.



Survivors include several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 23, 2008 at l:00 P.M. in the Barnsley United

Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Canuel officiating. Interment will follow in the Barnsley United Methodist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends Thursday at Barnsley United Methodist Church from 12 noon

until the funeral hour.



Nephews will serve as pallbearers and they include: Lewis Cornett, Max Cornett, Andy Oliver,

Hershell Bridges, Bill Gibson, and Tony Bridges.
