Lillian Monroe

Lillian Betty Monroe, 87, of Cartersville, formerly of Cumming died on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Cartersville Heights.

Born in Atlanta on September 4, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Clayburn Wallis and the late Bertha Padgett Wallis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Shirley R. Monroe; and her son, Don Monroe.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Phillips; her grandchildren, Daniel Monroe, Jennifer Monroe, Michael Monroe (Christy), Lisa Wright (Josh), and Carlton Phillips; her great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Monroe, and Aiden Monroe; and her brother, Ed Wallis (Barbara).

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, with Michael Monroe officiating.
