Lillian Louise Sumner Raye, 86, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on July 30, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on December 28, 1934, she is the daughter of the late Paul & Rosa Sumner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin "Gene" Raye: her grandson Matthew Thomson; and siblings Troy Sumner, Ed Sumner, Jack Sumner, Curtis Sumner, Hazel Lanham, and Brownie Nation.
Survivors include her children, Darlene Wheeler (Terry) and Lillian Thomson (Terry); her grandchildren, Michael Thomson, Mark Thomson, and Terry Jean (TJ) Thomson; Great-Grandchildren, Destiny Thomson, Hannah Thomson, and Haylee Thomson; and her sister, Emma Jean Walls.
Louise was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was retired from First Brands after 20 years of work. In addition, she also enjoyed puzzles, gardening, and her flowers.
