Lillie Bowman

Lillie Mae Bowman, age 70, of Rome, GA, died Friday, January 2, 2009, in a local hospital.



Ms. Bowman was born in Floyd County, GA, on January 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Hershel Bowman and Della Rae Carroll Bowman. She retired from Suhner Manufacturing after twenty years of service. In addition to her parents Ms. Bowman was preceded in death by a brother, Preston Bowman and two sisters, Iola Williams and Dora Mae Williams.



Ms. Bowman is survived by a niece, Mary Gillespie of Rome. Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.



Graveside and interment services will be held Monday, January 5, 2009, at 3:00 P.M. in the East View Cemetery with Rev. Rodger Horton officiating.



The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Heritage Chapel.
