Mrs. Lillie "Bill" Leachman House, 93, of Cartersville passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at Maple Ridge Healthcare.
A native of Bartow County, born August 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William Wesley Leachman and the late Bertha Goss Leachman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Crump and Lynda Walls; thirteen sisters and brothers; and several grandchildren. Mrs. House was a member of Center Baptist Church and was retired from Nantucket Industries. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, working in her flowers, cooking for her family and family gatherings.
Survivors include her son, Allen Belcher; her granddaughter, Vickie Boswell; her grandchildren, Tim Crump, Wesley Crump, Adam Belcher Casey and Jeffrey Belcher Casey; her great-grandchildren, Dee Dee Williams, Heather Crump, Lauren Womack, Jasen, Cody, Carter, Wes, Brandon Crump and Christopher and Jesse Womack; her great-great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Briana Dunagan, Eli, Sam, Ava Grace, Lyla Faith, Madilyn, Heidi Crump, Cole, Marley and Linkoln Crump; her great-great-great-granddaughter, Addison Grace Sanders; a very dedicated caregiver of ten years and best friend Lynda Mayes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with DeWayne Mullinax and Doug Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
