Lillie Repsie Noland Mitchell

Lillie Repsie Noland Mitchell, of Cartersville, Ga, born on June 29,1947 passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025 in Brunswick County NC.

Lillie was a hard worker and had a fiery spirit. You always knew where you stood with her, and her honesty was a gift to everyone who knew her.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Tyrannas; son Michael; brothers Ivy, Bob and Oscar; and long time significant other Don Hardin. She is survived by her children Loretta Eakin, Michelle Pate (Jamie), Steve Mitchell (Missy) and Bo Mitchell; sisters Jean, Mary and Laura; and brothers Tom and George. Lillie had 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A special thank you to Jean, Missy and Mandy who went above and beyond to care for Mom before her short stay at Bluefield's Memory Care in Leland, NC. Also a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bluefield's who loved her like family and to Lower Cape Fear Hospice for all of their care and compassion.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Tom Noland officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00am Monday, prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be George Noland, Steve Mitchell, Bo Mitchell, Brandon Mitchell, Jamie Pate Jr, and Daniel Eakin.
