Linda Ann Barrett, 55, of Cartersville passed away on February 4, 2011 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome. Born in Syracuse, New York on September 9, 1955 she was the daughter of John G. Barrett and Jean Elizabeth Shumway Barrett.
Linda attended and graduated from Marcellus High School in Marcellus, New York and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was a loving and beloved mother and grandmother. Linda loved doing crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her parents Mr. and Mrs. John G. Barrett of Syracuse, New York; her children and their significant others, Patrick and Carla Mahan of Cartersville, Jean Mahan and Dustin Hicks of Rockmart, Christopher Barrett and Tracey Adams of Cartersville, and Timothy Barrett of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Alexis and Abby McGivern, Dillon Mahan, Chandler Dupree, Nathan Barrett, Kadence Dupree, Natalie Barrett, Savannah Hicks, and two grandchildren on the way; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Katie Barrett of Marcellus, New York, Dan and Sukhui Barrett of Cartersville, James and Elsie Barrett of Marcellus, New York, and Tom Barrett of Missoula, Montana; and her special friend, John Rodefer of Cartersville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Father Dan Stack officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Mahan, Christopher Barrett, Timothy Barrett, Dustin Hicks, Joseph Barrett, Daniel Barrett, James Barrett, and Thomas Barrett.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 8 p.m. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
