Linda Evans

Linda Jane Brown Evans, 69, of White passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at her residence. Born November 11, 1940 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Brown and the late Georgia Hays Brown. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Hays Brown.



Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed the simple life and taking care of her family. The greatest mother in the world, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.



Survivors include her husband of 50 years, McRay �Mac� Evans; her sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Sharon Evans and Gary and Shelley Evans; her grandchildren, Tosha and Camron Huskins, Scott Evans, Ryan Evans, Tyler Evans, Bryan Evans, and Lacey Evans; her great-grandchildren, Nevan Huskins, Brant Huskins, and Hayden Huskins; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Harvey Heath and Betty and Frankie Kennedy; a special niece Shellie Millsaps; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral arrangements will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Scott Evans and Rev. James Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the White Methodist Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Allen, Daniel Hite, Frankie Kennedy, Harvey Heath, Kirk Ledford, and Jimmy Griffith. Honorary pallbearers will be Lacey Evans, Nevan Huskins, Bryan Evans, and Ryan Evans.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
