Linda Ledford

Linda Diane Ledford a longtime resident of Cartersville died Thursday October 9th 2014. Linda was born April 17th 1956 in Newfoundland Canada to Robert E Ledford, and Patricia Dea Ledford. She retired from Shaw Industries where she worked for over 20 years.
Linda had a vibrant personality. She was funny and kind. Linda would go out of her way to help someone in need. During her retirement years, she spent hours researching her mother's origins in Canada and retracing her family's journey in Europe during the time that her father was stationed there with the Air Force. She also enjoyed spending time with her young granddaughter. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Linda also had a special place in her heart for her beloved pets. She will be missed by them too. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ledford who was born and raised in Cartersville. Linda also leaves behind 2 grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Pat of Cartersville; daughter Laurie Baker and son Robert Baker of Cartersville; sister Suzie Ledford of Kennesaw; brothers Bob Ledford of Cartersville and Jim Ledford of Atlanta.
A graveside service will be held Saturday October 18th at 11AM at Sunset Memory Gardens 790 Indian Mounds Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
