Mrs. Lois Lindenbaum, 81, of Cartersville passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Heartland Hospice House after an extended illness. Born April 11, 1927 in Rochester, New York, she was the daughter of the late Robert James Taylor and the late Gertrude Margarite Taylor.
Lois had been active all of her life, and she had a very keen sense of humor. Lois had been successful in many occupations including airplane pilot. In her early days as a pilot, she enjoyed worrying her father with the new acrobatic tricks she had learned.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ed Lindenbaum of Cartersville; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Warren Jenkins; her nieces, Jean and Jeffrey Rohal and Joanne and Ken Wiren; her nephews, Kevin and Rachel Brown and Steven Brown; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2008 at The Church of the Ascension with Rev. Linda Pineo officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family may be contacted at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Etowah Valley Humane Society or to the donor�s charity of choice.
