Here is one of Lois's favorite poems titled "THE ROSE" :
I love to see the roses, In the garden where they bloom, With their natural beauty, They befit the bride and groom. In a Rose Bowl on the table, They simply are sublime, You can make another happy, With a Rose gift - so devine!
With their sweet fragrance, To permeate the air, If I had to choose just one, I couldn't, I declare! The Rose Bud with such splendor, Is a favorite, I suppose, If we could only have within us, The beauty of a rose. Next time your're in the garden, Where the blossoms are so sweet, Take time to smell the roses, It just might be a treat!A Tribute to Mom
Its YOUR time in the Garden
Where the roses smell so sweet.
Yes, the time has finally come
For you to dance upon your feet.
While we shall miss you dearly,
We know youre up above
Enjoying all the beautiful joys
Of Gods Heavenly true love.
When you look down on your family
In the weeks and years to come,
Youll know how much we love you
That wont change for anyone.
We pray that God rewards you
For the love youve freely shared,
Your kind heart and beautiful spirit
Will shine forever in the ways you cared.
While all the flowers in Gods Garden
Are surely beautiful this fall,
His Garden just got brighter
With the most beautiful ROSE of all.
Your loving daughter,
Denise
