Lois Watwood

Mrs. Lois Brunson Watwood, age 88, of Chatsworth, formerly of Celanese Village of Rome, GA, went to be with our Lord after a lengthy illness on Friday, August 29, 2008, at her daughter�s home.



Mrs. Watwood was born December 29, 1919, in Cherokee County, AL. Mrs. Watwood was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Henry Guthrie Watwood and her loving daughter, Martha Anne Watwood. Also, three brothers and five sisters have preceded her in death.



Mrs. Watwood is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Robert Jordan; granddaughters, Deborah Jordan Bryant and Beverly and Kevin Sinclair; great-granddaughters, Michelle, Andrea and Billy, and Jennifer and Tim; great-great grandchildren, Adam, Kaila, Bianca, Adrianna, Jordan, and Justin; and a sister, Esther Wesson.



Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 31, 2008, at 3:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home.



The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home by 2:30 P.M. on Sunday: Glenn Watwood, Jerry Watwood, Scotty Rogers, James Garlin, Jody Cartwright and Gary Yarborough. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Ray, Kevin Sinclair, and Joe Haggard.
